APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR STATUS IN EARLY APRIL
Who may apply?The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students (Masters or Ph.D.) of accredited colleges or universities. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment — through coursework or experience — to any combination of at least two of the following fields:
Applicant must have the ultimate goal of working in children’s media. Applicants may apply for support in one of the four following areas:

RequirementsApplications will be available to download. Background information about the applicant and a plan for the use of the scholarship funds are required. You must include a proposed detailed budget of how the funds will be used. Your plan must include project goals and milestones. You must also include recommendations from two individuals, either faculty members from two of the referenced fields and/or professionals from the children’s media industry with whom you have worked. How are successful Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship applicants selected?Applications are evaluated by a committee formed yearly by the two governors representing the Television Academy’s Children’s Programming Peer Group.
