About the Loreen Arbus Focus on Disability Scholarships

On behalf of the Television Academy and our Board of Directors, we are happy to announce that our partnership with The Loreen Arbus Foundation and the Alliance for Women in Media is continuing. This scholarship started last year to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Created by Loreen Arbus, two deserving student producers will receive the Focus on Disability Scholarships which recognize student filmmakers whose work sheds light on people with disabilities, helps emerging artists gain recognition and increases visibility for artists with disabilities.

One of the honorees will be selected from entrants in the Television Academy Foundation's, College Television Awards. The other will be selected from the PSA competition of the Alliance for Women in Media. Each will receive a $10,000 scholarship from The Loreen Arbus Foundation.
