Student Advisory Council

The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is an appointed group of 10-12 graduate and undergraduate students that serves as a liaison between the student community at large and the Television Academy Foundation, and the programs that are housed therein. Working in conjunction with Foundation Staff, associated committees and the Board of Directors, the Committee is dedicated to furthering outreach for the Foundation’s programs and providing leadership and insight on student interests.

Endeavors

• Increase student participation and attendance at annual events.
• Encourage and facilitate former program winner interaction with student population.
• Provide input regarding methods of student outreach and feedback on the Foundation’s programs.

SAC members meet quarterly with the appointed committee staff members to discuss issues related to the endeavors of the SAC.
